Wintersday Card 2010
With the Wintersday Festival rapidly approaching, I'm surprised that I haven't heard anything about players receiving cards from the ANet team. Anyone know if they are being sent out this year?

They send them out via the online store this year for £7.99 or $9.99.

Usually they come just before christmas eve, or even a little time afterwards depending on where you live and postal systems
The ones I've had, 1 came on the 23rd Dec, the other on the 30th.
It does'nt cost that much to do and is a real treat for the fans and those who get them(esp as the majority of them are random).

I;m assuming you have to have a Master Account to get a card? B/c that would put a smile on my face to get a card from Anet... lol

This is when Regina reads the thread and goes "aww crap, i knew i was supposed to post them"
in all fairness Do NOT expect one, if you get one it doesnt mean your favored more and it doesnt mean they dont like you if you dont get one either for that matter. To my knowledge those who have got them in the past usually were competition winners etc where they already had your address, but correct me if im wrong. Its only not just those with a master account and address set up.

After sleeping with john I better get one...
Wait...I wasn't supposed to tell anyone about that was i?
But yeah basically they have to know your address via the master account I think it's also only us and canada residents however I could be wrong about this. And beyond a few select people it's jsut random.

I bet they keep a tally on who writes negative things and who doesn't and then crosses out ppl who criticize with a somewhat gleeful bwahhaha.

Anet sucks.
Their game was decent but their recent attention to it. Overly buggy updates (anyone remmeber how much of a bitch talmark was having something broken with it like every wik update?) Fairly sparse skill updates that actually adress whats going on.
Ncsoft their publisher/parent company? also sucks in terms of their support and total disregard to account security.
I think that rules me out for the next few years.
